Manitoba held its largest MPNP draw of 2026 on May 7, issuing 906 Letters of Advice to Apply in draw #270. The round included 431 invitations for education-related occupations under the occupation-specific selection stream and 475 invitations through strategic recruitment initiatives. A major focus of this draw was candidates connected to the Temporary Public Policy (TPP) for prospective provincial nominees, with 429 invitations issued under this category alone. In addition, 326 invitations were sent to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code. Manitoba has now invited 1,509 candidates in 2026, including 480 through the Express Entry system.
