IRCC conducted a new Express Entry draw for Provincial Nominee Program candidates

On May 25, 2026, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the Express Entry draw #416 for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The Government of Canada issued 334 Invitations to Apply (ITA), and the round’s cut-off score was 805 points, seven points more than the previous PNP-targeted draw and the highest in 2026. The tie-breaking rule for this round was October 16, 2025, at 18:16:33 UTC. It is important to note that IRCC has not updated the official Express Entry pool distribution since May 10, 2026, so the current number of candidates in the system remains unknown. However, as of May 10, there were 233,770 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, the Government of Canada invited 72,341 Express Entry candidates, including 4,450 PNP candidates, across 11 targeted draws.
