Saskatchewan has established itself as Canada's leading economic performer, adding an impressive 22,200 full-time positions year-over-year in July 2025, according to recent Statistics Canada data. With the nation's lowest provincial unemployment rate at just 5.0 percent—significantly below the 6.9 percent national average—Saskatchewan presents exceptional opportunities for immigrants seeking employment. The province reported unprecedented growth in healthcare (10.3%), construction (14.7%), and finance sectors (13.1%), while female employment surged by 4.8 percent. Deputy Premier Jim Reiter emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining this growth trajectory, positioning Saskatchewan as an increasingly attractive destination for skilled international workers.
