Northwest Territories schedules final 2026 Employer-Driven Stream expression of interest draw

The Government of the Northwest Territories has announced the final 2026 Expression of Interest (EOI) draw for the Northwest Territories Nominee Program's Employer-Driven Stream, scheduled for September 25, 2026. Prospective applicants must submit their EOI profiles by September 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MT to be considered, with approximately 100 profiles set to be selected. The upcoming draw follows three previous intake rounds held in March, June, and August 2026, which yielded 248 top-ranking selections across the NWT Express Entry, Skilled Worker, and Entry Level/Semi-Skilled categories. Profile scoring evaluates factors including language ability, NWT work experience, local job offers, and community ties. Territory officials noted that interest in the program continues to exceed the 300 total nomination spots allocated to the NWT by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for 2026.
