Quebec launched its first invitations under the new Skilled Worker Selection Program

On July 22, 2025, the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Francisation et Integration (MIFI) published the results of the 75th invitation round in Quebec’s online system Arrima. The first Arrima draws of the year were conducted on July 17, 2025. MIFI invited 216 candidates under Stream 1 (Highly qualified and specialized skills) and 22 candidates under Stream 4 (Exceptional talent), with priority given to French-speaking candidates currently residing in Quebec who possess local work experience or education, particularly in regions facing labour shortages. Last year, Quebec invited 24,144 candidates through the regular Arrima draws.
