Alberta invited Express Entry candidates through new AAIP draws

Alberta released the results of the recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) immigration draws. On July 16 and 21, 2026, the AAIP conducted two draws under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors, inviting 29 candidates working in the agriculture sector and 53 in the construction sector. These latest draws bring the total number of candidates invited under AAIP in 2026 to 10,451. Meanwhile, the Expression of Interest selection pool currently contains 36,948 active candidates, with the Alberta Opportunity Stream accounting for the highest volume at 23,056 profiles.
