Ottawa published a new update for Italian IEC applicants

On January 5, 2024, the Government of Canada published a new update regarding the participation eligibility requirements for Italian nationals participating under the International Experience Canada (IEC) program. As per the bilateral agreement between Italy and Canada, Italian citizens are required to submit a certified translation (in either English or French) of their "certificato di residenza" as evidence of their residence in Italy. In addition, the new update clarifies that applicants must reside in Italy at the time of their application to qualify for the IEC program.
