Nova Scotia Nominee Program announces temporary portal closure and stream consolidation for February 2026

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program will temporarily close its application portal from February 13 to February 18, 2026, as part of a major modernization effort. During this period, applicants with in-progress Expression of Interest submissions must complete them by February 13 at 4:00 PM, or they will be automatically cancelled. The program is also consolidating its streams from 10 to 4, aiming to provide greater clarity and a more streamlined application experience. Importantly, existing eligibility criteria remain unchanged, and priority areas like Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing will continue to be prioritized. All previously submitted EOIs and applications currently under review will remain active throughout this transition.
