Newfoundland and Labrador issues 405 immigration invitations in the latest provincial draw

On May 29, 2025, Newfoundland and Labrador held its third round of selections through the Enhanced Expression of Interest (EOI) system, issuing a total of 405 invitations. Of these, 351 were sent to candidates under the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP), while 54 went to applicants through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). This draw reflects the province’s continued commitment to addressing labour shortages and fostering population growth. By offering permanent residency opportunities to skilled foreign workers and international graduates, Newfoundland and Labrador is strengthening its workforce and economy. Since February 19, 2025, all applicants to the NLPNP and AIP must apply through the new Immigration Accelerator platform. So far this year, 989 candidates have received invitations, with a total of 2,525 economic immigration spaces available in 2025.
