Statistics Canada has launched an innovative data visualization tool providing comprehensive insights into immigrant financial outcomes across Canada. According to the July 7 release, immigrants earned an average employment income of $49,160 in 2021, compared to $51,400 for non-immigrants. The tool reveals significant income variations based on immigration status and education level, with established immigrants (those with 10 or more years of residence) earning an average of $52,050 annually, while recent arrivals average $42,320. Education has a significant impact on earnings, with bachelor's degree holders averaging $65,200 compared to $27,400 for those without formal qualifications. Additional success factors include pre-landing Canadian work experience, younger age at arrival, and official language proficiency.
