BC invited entrepreneurs under the BCPNP

On August 19, 2025, British Columbia held a new draw under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The BCPNP issued 11 invitations to candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, which is designed for experienced businesspeople who wish to start a new business or acquire an existing business in British Columbia. The lowest score of this round was 124 points. In addition, the province invited up to five candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration - Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 115. Last year, British Columbia invited up to 80 business candidates through the Entrepreneur draws. So far this year, the province has issued only 169 invitations under the BCPNP, with up to 75 of them going to entrepreneurs.
