Alberta receives 200 additional provincial nomination spaces for 2026

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) received an official allocation top-up of 200 additional provincial nomination slots from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This brings Alberta's total nomination cap for 2026 up to 6,603 certificates. The provincial government confirmed that these extra spots will be distributed across priority streams to help address urgent regional labour market shortages.
