Alberta conducted six new AAIP draws in the first half of July

Alberta released the results of the recent Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) immigration draws. In the first half of July, the province invited 1,177 candidates under six streams. The AAIP invited 833 Alberta Opportunity Stream and 42 Rural Renewal Stream candidates, as well as 92 Express Entry and 51 non-Express Entry candidates under the Dedicated Health Care Pathway. Additionally, the province issued invitations to 149 candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway and up to ten candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway. So far, Alberta has invited 10,369 candidates through the AAIP streams in 2026.
