International students struggling with Express Entry consider the Start-Up Visa program

Despite allocating specific points for Canadian-educated candidates, Canada's Express Entry system often leaves international students without an Invitation to Apply (ITA) due to high Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores for all-program draws consistently above 500. This leaves many students with Canadian education and job offers still in limbo. The Start-Up Visa (SUV) offers a proactive alternative for those stuck in the Express Entry pool. Unlike other entrepreneur programs that demand prior management experience, the SUV is accessible to international students, providing a viable pathway from temporary to permanent residence without the stringent experience requirements.
