Canada cannot fully benefit from the skills of immigrants

The Royal Bank of Canada report reveals that Canada is the most welcoming G7 country for immigrants, accounting for 90% of population growth. Additionally, the report notes that newcomers to Canada are better educated than native-born citizens - however, they work in jobs with much lower educational requirements than their qualifications and experience. This issue, affecting many professions, is particularly daunting for those with medical science, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry degrees. According to RBC's statistical analysis results, foreign-born workers are six times more prone to find themselves working at jobs which do not require specialized training than their domestic counterparts.
