Starting on June 11, the Alberta Opportunity Stream will resume accepting applications under new guidelines designed to improve processing times and provide applicants with multiple opportunities to apply for the limited provincial nomination certificates available. Key changes include a new approach where applications will be accepted on seven specific dates throughout the remainder of 2024, with one intake per month. The dates include June 11, July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 5, and December 10. On each of these dates, a specific quota of applications will be accepted. Once the quota is met, the province will not accept further applications until the next intake date.
